Pardon me for not being aware of this term... Jerruh. Or Jerrah.

Can someone explain? I have figured out that its Jerrah or Jerruh instead of Jerry for many people on here. But how did this come about?

Jobes, Messiah, etc I think. Basically, it is Biblical terms coined with the Almighty. That is what I hear anyways, may be way off-base.

I don't know what it is, but it bugs me. I'm not sure what's supposed to be insulting about it, but it just sounds like someone who can't pronounce the name 'Jerry' properly for whatever reason.

I am glad I asked. Sounds like I am not alone in being confused about this. For awhile, I was thinking maybe thats how the Wade-meister used to actually say "Jerry"...I was reaching for anything...and I guess I still am.

I like all of his compound sentences. Example: (jerry talking here)

I really liked what Romo did, during this game now I am talkin about, I wanna make that clear, I really liked how Tony came out in the first half, and make no mistake about it the offensive line was just super, but he really came out agressive, like on that throw to Dez in the first quarter, and Dez needs some credit on this too, but Tony just threw a perfect pass, and I want to stress I mean in this game, we've had some problems, and its not any one players fault, and I want to be clear about this so you get it right, Jennifer, we've had some issues but in this game Tony was just super.

Thats where I always thought Jerruh came from...along with the Arkansas thing...

Is that where it's from? That had never occurred to me. I thought it was from somebody on the radio impersonating him and just saying his name wrong because they were attempting a bad accent or something. Jerr-'uh' in that context at least makes a bit of sense.
