Jerry would rather lose than ever admit he's wrong.

That's why it's 28 years now and counting.

The worst thing in his mind would be to change it, see success, and have to admit to himself and everybody that he was wrong all along.

That's how children act.

yea we know

we know u gave this garbage qb franchise money and ether too stupid or too proud to admit u was very wrong

dak is garbage

never dis liked a cowboys qb more
I feel the same way. Dak is a good guy but I hate having him on our team. I know we will not win anything with him at QB and his salary is crippling this team. He is the type of QB that needs a lot of help and with him taking a large part of the cap, it will be harder to get good players to surround him.

His face tells a different story than his words. Hopefully he gets serious about replacing Dak. At the very least we must draft a QB in one of the first three rounds. Haven’t done so since 2001.
1) Offensive guard or tackle. 2) Nose tackle. 3) Tailback or WR. 4) QB. Find a kid that played in the Big 12 or similar. Look for intangibles... IQ, arm strength, mobility just something that could be developed.

Yeah another 4th round QB….let’s keep treating the most important position on the field like it’s an afterthought.

The tickets will always be sold. Jerry doesn't care if it's all opposing fans, either, and our stadium has been taken over several times - the worst being the 2014 game where it was easily 75% 49ers fans.
Perhaps but if merchandise sales fall & networks don't want our games it will get Jerry's attention. Negative public perception is about the only thing that drives Jerry's decisions. Becoming an open joke is something he will respond to.

It's one thing to be an open joke but demand is still there. I'm talking about sending the message that you don't care & won't support unless changes are made.

Part of me is just starting to wonder if Dak is just an overachiever who can't compete at the very highest level. He puts in the work, does the right things, says the right things, isn't particularly bad at anything that goes into playing QB. But when it comes down to his ability to process information and make a split second decision, I just don't know if he is or can ever be capable of doing it as good as a few other QBs out there. Maybe it's an overreaction due to a bad game at the worst time bc I am thinking I could probably say that for every QB ever, but it's just something I wonder. Romo played some bad games, a lot worse than that one yesterday, but I just never got that feeling. Idk.

That is a very reasonable thing to say.I think we all expected Dak's experience to help him play better than a rookie 7th rounder. That was our advantage pre-game. If you look at the rosters, Qb is about the only position where you could make a clear argument we had an advantage. Just didn't play out that way.

Jerry may never admit it, but i know for a fact he is not satisfied w this fraud at QB. Him nor McCarthy.

They were interested in both Jalen Hurts and Sam Howell in these past few drafts. I know hes kicking himself for not moving up to get Hurts

The game that forced Jerry to turn on Dak. And next week, either SF advances to the Super Bowl with Purdy or their divisional rivals make it with a 2nd round QB so it will make Dak look bad no matter what.
And the scary part is SF has 2 young QBs on there rookie deal…Lance and Purdy

It is and as good as our defense played for most of that game it's also reasonable to say why didn't they force Purdy to make one or two drastic mistakes that could have reversed things like San Fran did with Dak? Maybe Purdy is that good, maybe he is just playing at that high of a level, OR it could have just come down to Diggs dropping that INT and the 49ers defenders making plays when it mattered. We don't know how good Purdy really is but we know he's come out of nowhere and is playing very very well.

Purdy moved the chains and made some clutch throws when he had to. He plays a lot like Dak used to play his rookie year............making safe throws and limiting mistakes.

Even Jerry recognized that the QB play was supposed to be the advantage.

Jerry sees what he wants to see, which is why this team falls short year after year. We'll be having the same conversations after next season.

Every team that ever plays the Cowboys has the huge advantage of Jones as a GM/owner/Head coach. Its not really a team. Its an employment agency for the Jones family.
