Stephen Jones' mouth is Jerry Jones' proxy. He would direct his son to not publicly speak on football management matters if he wanted his thoughts not heard by us or anyone else.

It may be more prudent to wait-and-see how Jones reacts after current events have either died down or moved past. If he then continues to avoid his lover microphones, it would be a better indicator that his current motivations have evolved from his past ones.
