Jerry again declines to talk to media

I don’t understand why shutting up insinuates that they are “up to something.”

I’m not complaining and hope he shuts it forever, but couldn’t he just not mention this supposed top secret operation, or can he not help himself?

Besides, any type of radical ‘win now’ move is 2-3 years too late. The situation now actually calls for their draft only plan, then you supplement from there after you nail a couple in a row. They don’t get that part no matter how many other successful teams do things that way.

I really wish Dak the best of luck regarding the hamstring injury. Hamstring issues (and his was a serious injury) are very difficult to fully recover from, and once recovered, very hard to trust. Fortunately he's in pro trainers hands and that'll surely help. But add this to his previous lower leg injury and he's basically a car that has one of the wheels held on with one lug nut - his mobility will never be what it was, and that part of his game was essential to any success he had. The team will need to do a better job of surrounding him with an elite running game for them to win with him.

Because it has already been leaked that they are working on getting several players signed.

I’m still not convinced that Jerry Jones didn’t know what “all-in” meant.

Those two aren’t always on the same page, and I’m sure Stephen kiboshed it after Jerry already opened his mouth.

The approach is admirable, and makes a lot of sense….until you get to where no one in the history of the league has drafted well enough consistently for sustained success…since FA started anyway.

The system is set up to penalize success once you get there. Note how much weaker the last several drafts have been after those “12 win seasons.”

I guess they either don’t see that, or are afraid of being exposed for what they actually are….unqualified to build a winning roster in todays NFL….meaning, you had your shot for three years, you blew it by being cheap, now a rebuild is in order but they instead sign Prescott to a record deal (and not to cut an album lol). Let’s see how that goes.

I’m surprised no one has started a thread on this…although I’m not doing it lol…..what if they didn’t sign Prescott last year? What would his market be right now? Doubt it would be at a record level.

If they waited, they may have even been able to try to lowball the players he needs around him.
