It's the culture they built of course everything is great. Jerry is making money hand over fist, and that his Super Bowl...a bank n trust full of money.

Not defending Jerry, but what else is he going to say?
Well. I’ll use a real world example.

We had an accident on a job site on Friday. Guy had a 200 pound piece of steel fall and pierce his boot causing him to have to go to the hospital.

While the foreman admitted it was due to complacency and not paying attention. Our branch manager took the blame saying “it’s on me for not training you better and not seeing the signs that you were getting complacent.” The manager wasn’t even on site but took the blame.

That’s leadership.

Refusing to admit that you are a problem when you constantly say the buck stops with you is sad.

If Dak does not sign an extension this year, and Jerry keeps him only to sign him to an enormous contract next year, maybe then Jerry will understand the problem culture in Dallas. The priority in Dallas is not winning. That is purely a culture problem and it starts with the 2 soda jerks at the top.

It's more than just that. We get punched in the gut and we give up.
All starts at the top. This organization likes submissive players who are yes sir men. A good team needs real enforcers who are borderline criminals who want to hurt somebody. They need more players like Parsons who aren't afraid to speak up about the play of other players on the team. Years ago if you have an issue with a guy fight it out. That's what's missing here!

To take it a step further…these players are more enamored about being a Dallas Cowboy and all the perks and attention that go with it than being professional football players. Everything these players do get press just because of playing for “America’s Team” , which gives them a sense of entitlement and arrogance for doing nothing. On the flip side, as a player serious about their craft, how can they even function in this circus-type atmosphere?
This team desperately needs vocal leaders who lead by example, but those types of players aren’t typically drafted by the Cowboys.
