For someone who says they aren't on either side of the argument you sure look like a Roy basher in disguise. I mean seems as all your stuff is anti Roy, not this so much but most of everything else for sure.

Newman had stated Roy is working to keep his weight down, which seems to point to the fact that Roy has trouble maintaining a consistent weight. This means that when Roy says he lost quite a few pounds, it probably included weight he gained in the off-season. This happened last year as well, where Roy ballooned around 20 pounds and lost it before training camp, and people acted as if Roy accomplished a lot by losing that weight.

I miss his playing size his first two years, where his legs didn't look anywhere near as bulky. Upper-body doesn't concern me with Roy, because his problems are in the turning of his hips.

It's no secret I'm on the side of..

If Roy plays in 2008 like he played in 2007 then he's not going to be here in 2009.

I am also on record for saying that I could live with the poor coverage if he would show up in other spots.

Having 0 sacks, 0 FF, 0 TFL's and maybe 1 big hit last season was him NOT showing up in other spots last season.

Bashing? I could have put some antlers on him or I could have put a red nose on him and called him Rudolph. I took it easy on him IMO.
