Tonight's game was giant verification that many on this board were right when they called out what Jerry and Stephen were selling along the OL and at WR. They didn't do enough at either position. Now the homers thought people were just being haters but once again, the "haters" were far more realistic than the "true" fans.

They messed up OL. That's obvious. They placed all their hope in cheap, unproven players to fill all their majors holes. It backfired. They seemed completely unprepared for the realization Tyron Smith would get hurt at some point.

The same thing at WR. They let Cooper and Wilson go, knew Gallup was coming off ACL and all they did was bring in Washington, a journeyman on the cheap and draft a raw kid in the 3rd round. Again placing teir hope until Gallup was back in cheap, young, unproven players. The fact they failed tonight shouldn't surprise anyone who isn't a total Jerry Jones toadie.

He and his son don't know how to build a winning roster. They don't. We have 25 years of evidence and it looks like we are about to add a 26th year to that. But some of you still won't learn and will be right back hre in 2023 defending what likely will be another indefensible offseason.

The fans keep lapping up the same BS they feed us every single year.

Record number of people show up to training camp, games, and buy ungodly amounts of apparel… all to support a mediocre franchise that hasn’t done anything in a quarter century.

It makes me nauseous because this once-revered franchise is being used for one family’s financial gain, and success on the field is wayyyy down on the list of priorities. Nepotism and profit above anything else.

Not even exaggerating… it makes me want to walk away and not ever watch a game again.

Nothing is going to change in Dallas. The team is going to get passed down to Stephen and then he’s gonna pass it to one of his entitled, bratty children.

I used to hope that the Cowboys could luck their way to a championship DESPITE the Jones family. At this point, that hope is lost.

I want 2 beers a piece from the individuals that blasted me for calling our WR corp bottom 5 in the entire league....it actually may be the very worst!!!:facepalm::facepalm:

The best was in the game thread tonight. CowboyRoy was liking posts from people pointing out that the WRs outside Lamb weren't all that good and we had been saying it all camp. Yet, he was one of the posters all camp bragging about the young WRs, basically how dumb those of us who questioned the WRs were, and that we were just being haters and complaining to complain. He wasn't the only one that suddenly changed their tune tonight.

haha woww releasing good talent @ premium position and then do nothing to replace it and also nothing with the cap space was a bad idea?????

i am shocked! lol what the heck was jerry and stephen thinking

Yah, its not going to happen. Even if they bring someone in like Payton, they will overrule him on decisions and blow it.

It's odd that they can run such a successful business and yet their football is run on hopes and prayers

It's not. Jerry is a PR mastermind and businessman. It's no surprise that he's marketed his franchise and made billions.

But while he's a great businessman, I wouldn't hire him to design my kitchen renovation.

Jerry thinks he knows football. He doesn't. He thinks he's a GM. He's not. He knows how to market his team and himself. He doesn't know how to build a competent football roster.

The ONLY thing I'll give them credit for since the Parcells era that's actually led to winning is drafting Tyron, Frederick and Martin in a span of 4-5 years, Everything else has been smoke and mirrors.

CowboyRoy said Tolbert would replace Cooper and Williams would be an improvement over Gregory.

Then us realists are called “Eagles fans” for pointing down it how much better their roster is minus the QB which tonight Hurts would have done as well if not better than Dak
