i like us trading down here...the value in the 2nd/3rd/4th is very close...we can still pick up our WR, NT and OG

Exactly.

And who says we won't move a couple picks for another 3rd if we want to?

Were movin down for picks next year

Dont need any more sixes or sevens this year

Amen, Jerr budy take the picks and work us back into tonight picks.

We are not done moving around. So instantly deciding on the trade is premature.

the value isn't there in the 2nd is why

I understand what you mean bro.
But if there are players you want you get them.
Regardless of where, IMO.

They wanted Spencer and made the move to get him, makes sense to me. Seems like there are no players left that they want in this range (which seems unlikely), so they trade down again for more questionable picks ? Ehh.

Dont get me wrong, I tend to believe that value is important, but so is finding the right fit. If you overpay for the right guy, I dont think that is a bad thing.

but look at what we need to get, a WR, the only WR worth a 2nd available is Jason Hill, and he's borderline 2nd, a CB, alot of 2nd-tier CBs left, and so on

Dont forget OT, QB, RB, DT, etc.

Jason Hill was not worth the pick but bringing in more depth at positions isnt always a bad thing. And yes, I know the Commanders arent very good at understanding this concept.

How many of theese mid round picks make the team?

I heard on Sirius NFL radio last week players that make the team...according to draft status goes like this:

1st Round
2nd round
Undrafted FAs
3rd
4th-7th.

Only a skins fan can see the sense in this!

BTW, what are Snyder and Gibbs doing this weekend?
