I will say that I thought he handled his show on Friday with Newy and Richie very well. I'd almost tell them to screw off with the way they were grilling him, but like Dale Hansen says, he's like those old clown punching bag things that just pop back up for more abuse.

I remember hearing Roy Williams on one of those shows on 1080 on Monday or Wednesday night... Sham asked them how much Jerry really talked to the team, and he said hardly ever, that it was more individual pep talks before games in the locker room, things like that.

He did say the players would joke about, "Oh, I see Dad had a word with you" when that happened.

I suspect the players admire the money Jerry has made and see him as something of a crazy uncle. I don't know that the interviews and so forth really bother them as much as it's something for them to laugh at.

So IMO, things like hiring the OC before the head coach, and hiring coaches that may be more loyal to him than to the HC, are far bigger problems than all his media appearances.

I wondered what the fans thought the players thought of him.

And I have backed Jerry at times and bashed him at times. Is that ok? Yeah, it's called being a fan.

I don't have to love or hate anyone or anything about this team. For some of you that's the way it is. You can't say nay about anyone or else you hate them and you can't say yah about anyone or else you love them.

It's stupid.

How dumb is it to question me on the 13 years. You're still living in 1995 I guess.

Sounds like a beaten down fan with no hope and one is just willing to accept this team for what it is. You might as well just come on here and write 'blah, blah, blah' in every post.

Its funny you should say that because that's basically what you do.

I've been so far from complacent that you really couldn't get any further from the truth in saying that I "accept this team for what it is". I suppose you think you're making some great contribution to turning things around by keeping a stopwatch on Jerry's TV time. After all, you're not just accepting things, you're doing something about it.

You're agenda was clear from the word go. 13 years? Everyone knows why you pick 13 years. And then you say those who want to look at 14 years are living in the past? Really, whats the difference between 13 and 14? If 14 is living in the past, what is 13? Its hilarious that you can pick and chose what to look at and then label someone for calling you on it. Whatever gets ya through the day I suppose. Keep grinding that axe.
