Jerry: Beckham plane incident not an issue in team interest

Man y'all need to let it go. Jerry will NEVER pay for a DT. When Dak was on a rookie contract they still didnt do it. Cap space isnt the reason they dont pay a lot for safety or DT. Its because they dont value the position.

That could be, but the point is really Beckham being about right now with that knee.

Him being 100% in football shape and integrated into the offense, getting timing down with Dak, and a lot of etc….within the next month is next to impossible, yet many seem to think it’s no problem.

At that point, if you’re a playoff team, go with what got you that far. The list of reasons to NOT sign the guy is far longer than the other column…..committing money to him beyond this season is part of it…..but yeah they probably wouldn’t spend it anyway.

But then he says he is focused on this year...and all of a sudden he has a fixation on winning it this year, so he can't team build for long term.

So the crime is.... nothing but you can cite more laws if it makes you feel better, none apply to this situation tho

Yeah, Barry Switzer bringing a gun into the airport was not illegal either. Just because an individual doesn't go to jail doesn't mean his actions weren't criminal in nature. Cops can let perps walk at their discretion.
