Jerry confirms issue with Ratliff

We should have gone after Aubrayo Franklin as I suggested. Can't understand this front office at all.

I always find it funny that people invariably take the side of the owner over a player even though the players are the people we cheer for week in and week out.

I thought the wise old sages of the forum said this was a media fabrication????

From reports of even Ware saying Ratliff is like day and night ill side with Jerry. If all he said was they needed him as the report stated then yes ill side with jerry. Considering the lack of playing and added headache ill side with Jerry on this one. Bye Ratliff

:laugh2: gotta love it!

On a serious note, Ratliff is (was/might still be) good, but there's no room for such a dipsh*t on any team. Getting revved up for games is one thing, jumping up in the owner's face is plain ********.

I don't. Maybe because I don't player worship.

There has to be a defined chain of command in an organization. A player is just a player. He can not be allowed to do what Ratliff did.

I hate Jerry Jones like he stole from my Mother, but I can not side with Ratliff on this. He should be immediately released from the team.

Why would you cut Ratliff because he called out Jones? Is that NOT what each and every one of us have been complaining about for YEARS! That Jones is the problem, but when someone finally stands up for it, you all want to cut him because of this? I'm sorry, but did you all not see how much of an impact Ratliff had on the rush defense? When we lost him what happened? Exactly... When healthy, Rat is a force in the middle of the line.

right church wrong pugh.

the fabrication part is where fisher labeled Ratliff a malcontent.

its pretty easy to see that Ratliff does not want to be questioned about whether or not he is injured enough to miss time. His track record is all you need to know.

Just like when head coach/gm/owner/head of sales/head trainer/pilot/president/hostess/ jerry jones questioned marion barber in 09.

foolish.

But did Jerry question him? From the report that came out Jerry simply said the team needed him. I think the whole Jerry questioning Ratliff came from this forum.

oh please wise one, tell us what Ratliff did.

And please don't cite the made up internet story about him not wanting to move to end, cause uhh...that is a made up internet story.

Tell all of us what Ratliff said to jerry with details.

I was wise enough to read that he had a confrontation with the owner and had to be separated by the players.

No more info needed. Bye-bye, player. You just went over the line.

The thing is that none of us will know what truly transpired . . . . I doubt JJ or Rat will expand on what happened. (Hopefully, Rat has apologized if he mis-interpreted what JJ meant.)

Let him play.

It's a non issue.

Rat was probably right in the first place.:D

We don't work for Jones; we can say whatever we want.

what else would he be implying? Just like with barber.

Jerry is sticking his mouth where it doesn't belong and publically in front of the team doubting ratliffs toughness.

that's after 6 seasons of seeing the guy bust his rear end for the team and specifically last year when rat was injured and played the whole second half.

if this is ok behavior, why not question everybody's injuries? Why shouldn't jerry question lee's toe injury? I mean its just a toe and he is a big football player.

Exactly right. You just can't go there for any reason. To allow some player to do that to the owner of the team is allowing a complete circus.

You make an example of him and make him an ex-Cowboy. Like Parcells did with Antonio Bryant.

If you're gonna challenge somebody (if he did), you have to accept there will be some debate. Especially if you actually know the player and how he will respond to being challenged.

I don't think it's right that Jerry can stir the pot with one of his toughest veterans and then get upset that the guy actually had something to say for himself.
