Dak did it to himself. Lost his hunger the same way Tony "this isn't the worst thing in the world" Romo did. Next qb we get needs to be a bluechip 1st rounder. Sick of these dudes playing with all heart until they get the money and get complacent
I remember that quote from Romo and thinking that I care more about the Cowboys winning than the guy they're paying millions to does. Could you image Tom Brady ever saying something like that.

A thumbless Dak Prescott. God knows where his throws are going to go. This is why people laugh at this team. Decisions like this.

Romo physically slacked off and dak mentally has. We can never get it right. Them combined is a championship qblol

They seem a bit "Rush" to get him back out there. Guess they are really worried about about Cooper

Worst case scenario for Jerry is Rush does well. And Dak stinks it up when he returns. The GM is a failure.

I wonder why they don't want the Cooper era to continue any longer than they deem necessary?

Because they’re hoping to win the division and make the playoffs.

Some of you just aren’t nearly as clever as you think you are.

I was joking
I know. Some people on this board will think you are serious though. Pretty scary the Dak loyalist on here. I like Dak. I think he is a good guy just not a good QB. Definitely not worth the money he is being paid.

Ditto. Awesome leader but just not a good QB

Dak’s problem is now mental. The thumb injury saved him further embarrassment. He already had issues with accuracy, reading zone defenses, going through his progressions and getting rid of the ball on time, etc., and they have now been magnified due to a lack of confidence. As a QB, you cannot show hesitation and lack confidence and must have a short term memory to forget bad plays like interceptions. If Jerry wants to rush him back, he’s an idiot. A non-fully healed injury will only make things worse. But candidly, I don’t know if Dak can actually recover. He got his huge never have to work again contract and that seemed to be the most important thing to him.

Jerry will never learn. He did this to Romo in 2015. I guess he forgot how that worked out. Dumb senile drunk.

Seems like the Jones boys are anxious to "rush" Dak back ASAP.

Gawdd... i hope not. Let the guy rest all he can...rather have a 100% healthy Rush if he is hot, than rusty, inconsistent and still ailing Dak.... Would be a major mistake.
