When we were winning SUPER BOWLS, Jerry did not want to pay Emmit. Somehow he THOUGHT he knew BETTER than the football people. This is what we are dealing with people. We start the season 0-2...they get Emmit back on the field....and we go on to win a Super Bowl

Stephen did not want to pay Deion....and without Deion we don't win in 1995.

If it was up to the Jones boys...all of these guys would play for the veteran minimum. The absolutely want the upside of being the highest valued franchise in the history of the NFL, but they want it at the least cost possible. EVEN IF IT MEANS WE DON'T WIN!!!

For years it was the Lions, Commanders and Cowboys as the only teams that had not played in a NFC title game in 25+ years. In a 3 year span both the Lions and the Commanders have gotten there names off that list. So now the only team who remains is....you guessed it...the Cowboys. And right on que, the offseason is off to the same start (free agency, signing your own players) that ensure the streak continues.

There are still too many people that believe the Jones boys actually want to WIN. Which is why NOTHING ever changes. And when Jerry is gone...the drought will still continue. Stephen has already shown that he will be WORSE!!!

At the end of the day....I have long since stopped giving a flying duck about the owners and players and their billions and millions. I don't begrudge the owners for making their billions and the players absolutely deserve to make their market value.

But the salary cap is the SAME for every team. And every team in the NFC except Dallas has played in the NFC title game over the last 30 years. Which means that with the same salary cap....everyone else has figured out how to give their organization a chance to compete for a Super Bowl. And all Dallas has done..... both owners and players...is figured out how to make more money than anybody else.

Two separate things BUT on winning a SB, the guy feels like he's a made man, therefore already views himself as a winner. He's his own worst enemy. The day he donned the Gold Jacket was confirmation of this in his pickled mind. He's winning in his bank account and the attention he gets. Can't stand him. He's not the same guy that bought the team, the maverick, the risk taker, the do whatever it takes owner is long gone. Now he's luke warm on going all in .
