Jerry is right if you look at how Jerry rarely fires coaches under contract. So if Mike isn't extended the DC will most likely stay in place under the new HC the following year. Just like KM was retained when Mike was hired.

This is assuming he gives the new DC a two year contract.

That's a big part of the problem when you have Jerry's kind of money you don't see any situation like the rest of the world.

He doesn't look at this team like he wants to win a championship with it he looks at the team as a toy that he can make money with and he markets it to make the most money and winning a championship doesn't necessarily do that

Yeah, the kind of coaches Jerry is looking for are now desperate to land any gig, even if it means working for the devil.. Zimmer, Rivera, Wink, etc....all desperate, no choice, looking for work, either this or Home Depot watering plants in the landscaping department.

Not only that but I would assume they would only be offered a one year deal to run concurrent with MM? Its either someone hard up for work/ money or someone willing to do Jerry a favor, I would think.
