Despite the current public opinion there is no way in heck Jerry will be the one to decide who plays week 9.

Garrett and Linehan will make that call. Steven will back their decision. They may make a "recommendation" in a subsequent meeting but there is no way in the world Jerry will override their opinion.

As much as I think Jerry is an old man that is losing his mind, do I in no way believe he has the power to override everyone else.

People need to stop complaining about Jerry doing something he doesn't have power to do.

I actually agree, JJ has shown in recent years to trust the recommendations of the coaches and definitely Stephen. Plus if it all goes south, I think JJ wants a fall guy lol

Whats up with your sig? We found a quality CB in the draft. His name is Brown. And he is very quality. We also found two quality front 7 defenders.

lol, you had me until you said he didn't have power over his own organization. He has the power to do whatever he wants to do, no one has taken that from him and the only way they will is to have him committed, be completely incapacitated or is 6 feet under.

let's just hope he doesn't get his back up over some perceived slight and feel the need to remind everyone who's in charge

Hold on. Did I read that right? "No way he has the power to override everyone else?"

Can you explain what you mean by that? Are you saying Jerry doesn't have the authority to make a personnel decision if he wants to?

It's one thing to believe Jerry has somehow allowed others to make these decisions, it's another entirely to believe that he has somehow been stripped of the power to make these decisions.

It was a "self stripping" of sorts...

Yea, I'm not confident that Jerry won't make the decision, even if it's Garrett and Linehan telling Jerry what we should do, and he listens.

I do think the choice will come down to what Garrett and the coaching staff want to do. However as the Owner of the Cowboys Jerry has the power to do what he wants, Stephen has pull but Jerry is still the final say.

Well ok. But I don't really think there is a difference. Garrett will decide.

If Romo can play at all. Jones puts him in. Bank on it. It may destroy what the Club presently has going...but Jones will do it. Bet on it.
