Let's face it folks.. Firing Jason Garrett is like banishing your only begotten son from your home forever. Jerry doesn't have the heart to let his son go. The only way we see a new HC is when Garrett walks away on his own recognizance and forces the hand of his daddy.
 
If Garrett doesn't coach this team to the playoffs he is as good as gone. No doubt about it in my mind.

Here's the thing .... I think a lot of people look at kc and Seattle etc teams that turned it around quickly and think we can do that here....I don't see this as a quick fix.
Those teams had dominant lines, draft picks and cap space.... We take an o for three in those depts.

The problem is definitely systemic. No one fire/hire will create the type of turnaround the Chiefs and Seahawks enjoyed. The burning question remains. What will it take for Jerry to see this?
 
Jerry will eventually have to fire (reassign) Garrett, but he sure won't like doing it.
