Brown's fire GM Phil Savage, Crennell rumored to be gone by morning.

Owner Randy Lerner is expected to ask Bill Cowher, who is expected to turn them down, leading Lerner to pursue NE's Pioli.

According to Jim Donovan, sports anchor, they want Cowher as GM/HC...but already know he's not interested.

I dont think cowher is the legend many make him out to be, people talk about him like he is parcells and he is not even close.

The thing I do like about him though is that he is smart and surrounds himself with outstanding assitants. He also commands respect from everyone in the organization at all times. He plays smart football, run first defense first football.

WIth this current group of players, cowher would probably have poor results.

If jerry allowed cowher to hire his own staff, make his own personnell changes I would be driving the cowher bandwagon. However we know that is not going to happen and we all know Bill Cowher is too smart to come in and be the circus ring master here.

If I am a good coach with options I wouldnt even want to interview for this job, If I am jim fassell, steve mariucci or brian billick I would deal with the circus because that is the only option I have, like wade phillips.
