When asked by a reporter in a recent interview who was responsible for the Cowboys' rough start, JJ said, "It starts with me. I'm the President & GM of the team. I picked the coaches, and I brought in all of the players".

Well said, my man.

Tell me, Jerry, how many GMs would STILL have a job if their team was picked so many times to go far into the playoffs the last several years, only to under-deliver every season? Yeah, I thought so. So, when Jimmy was with you, he brought in a lot of the talent, & you won 3 Super Bowls. Then you start picking all of the talent, & every team since then has had the heart of a mouse... hhmmm.

Don't you think it's time for you to FINALLY fire yourself as President & GM, hire a real football executive, and get the *&%$& out of the way??!!!

Just asking.

Because your team showed no intestinal fortitude at all last night. If not for the 5 turnovers, your defense might have given up a record number of yards & points. Even then, they gave up 500+ and 41 respectively.

Ever think a Steelers or Ravens defense would lay down like that? After having a 20-7 lead? Nah, didn't think so. THEY have professional GMs who hire good coaches & bring in talent that doesn't fold at the drop of a hat. Please follow suit. Thanks.

A more sobering realization is that the worst front office in the league would not hire him for a personnel job, and yet he's the guy calling the shots for our team.

Our drafts have not been good lately. 2009 looks like a total washout. There's a reason why and I don't think it's Tom Ciskowski.

Jerry Jones get out of my Town and away from my Football Team.

YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME IN DALLAS

:chainsaw:

The problem is Jerry's coaching hires.

Even the Bucs are playing hard, disciplined, inspired football with a coach in his 30s and with inferior talent. It's all about coaching.

So, Jerry is still delusional. After the game last night he was talking like if Romo didnt get hurt, they would have won that game. I'm here to tell you anybody that is not a blind homer knows the Giants were going to win that game one way or another. The Giants moved and scored at will, and generally pushed them around on both sides of the ball. The defense is not good enough and the offense always self destructs. Those are the facts.

What do you consider lately? 2009 does look bad, although the jury isn't completely out yet, but 2008 got us Felix, Jenkins, Bennett, Choice, and Scandrick.

Isn't that the truth. yeah, they're not world beaters, but they are playing as a unit.

What's funny is the entire team (coaches and front office included) is very young. They are growing together.

You consider Scandrick an asset?

In this year's NFL, they might make the NFC Championship game. Hell, the Super Bowl is within the realm of possibilities. They play tough. Really tough.

The guys believe what Coach Morris is selling. That's 1/2 the battle right there. The rest is heart, and because they believe in their coach they want to play hard for him. On top of that, they've been getting better each week.

Props to the Bucs.

I consider him a good 5th round pick. He is certainly worth having on the team. A guy isn't only of value if he is a standout, and he is worth mention in an overview of the 2008 draft.

So what does he do about it?

If I were Jerry, I'd be on the phone with Parcells a lot getting his thoughts about the next head coach. We know he seeks Parcell's opinion on matters; he has said that before.

I think Bill had a lot to do with turning this front office around, and I don't see how Jerry can trust his supporting cast when they enabled him to hire the current coaching staff.

If he doesn't fire himself, then he better get help somewhere because the next head coach will likely be the last one that Romo and company play for as members of the Cowboys.

You can't screw this up.

At this point I would rather have Gordon back on the team.

You should reconsider your thoughts on Scandrick, he's been absolutely unacceptable for a long while now.

It's like he is playing in shock mode, he freezes up and has been doing so for near two entire seasons.

Not being worth a major playing role doesn't make a person a bad 5th round pick. If your criteria for 5th rounders is they have to be standouts you need to rethink the draft. First rounders don't always turn out that way, much less 5th rounders. He is a reasonable plyer for the spot he was chosen.

Nevertheless, are you guys really going to use this to deflect attention from the point of my post, which was that we had a good 2008 draft? If it suits you take Scandrick out of the picture and we still had a good 2008 draft.

In other words, a bunch of guys who are doing next to nothing right now. As much as I like Felix, it's a lie to say any of them have had a significant positive impact on the team.

Scandrick, Bennett and Choice are utterly irrelevant.
