It sounds like Jerry Jones is a little worried:

"Well, after what happened to us in Philadelphia, there's no confidence," Jones said Saturday night. "That's not the word for me. I'm respectful. When one of my classmates in grade school did what they did to us up there, I walked around the other side of the school. I'm leery of them, and we should be leery of them. It's going to be all we can do to really get out there at Cowboys Stadium and play."

No, as I said in another thread, I think this is Jerry trying to play armchair psychologist through the media, a la Jimmy. Of course, Jimmy was a master at motivating his players. Jerry? He just needs to ****.

Maybe is a motivational ploy for his own team. As much as Philly kicked our butts, the cowboys for some reason looked totally disintrested in playing that night. I think we will see a different cowboy team Saturday, and more importantly a different result.

I swear the day he stops talking so much will be the day I throw a party!

Yeah I saw that too. Between the fans and the organization it sounds like we are tip-toeing into this game. Nobody trusts the match up with Philly and I hate to say it but I don't either.

I can't wait to be wrong but I'm really nervous.

Jerry is sending a message to Garrett and Ryan that you better have a better Game Plan in place based on the previous blowout. I don't blame Jerry because if I was the owner, I would have docked Garrett and Ryan's pay for for being AWOL in the previous Eagle game.

I like it.

I really do.

About time.

If only the guys that want him to shut up would take their own advice. But then it would be a perfect world then wouldn't it.

Good! Maybe he'll keep his mouth shut and not give away parts of the gameplan on his weekly show!

Obviously the bravado of "We are going to kick their arses." Didn't work, so maybe Jerry wants to try something else. According to my records- the JJ complainers would be better served hoping that RR doesn't open up again.

You can take it at face value, or you can look at it like he is challenging his team. Which is the way I'm looking at it. He is basically saying we got our a***** handed to us in Philthy, and so what are we going to do about it on Saturday at 4:15 at the Death Star?

With those very statements, he is challenging Garrett, Ryan, and every coach on the staff along with the players to execute and right a wrong.

We won't lose!

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner. Realists will point out how Jerry is a bad GM, blah... blah... blah, among other things. Or just make fun of Jerry. Fans who believe take a completely different view.

I applaud you miamicowboy21.

I hate Jerry Jones.

Finding Oil in Texas doesn't make you a genius, and buying a few championships doesn't make you a GM.
