When it's having a negative effect on your own team that's a huge problem! This isn't Texas stadium with the sun beating on the visiting teams bench. Jerry deciding not to close the curtains makes no sense at all.

It makes sense when you understand what a malignant narcissist is, and who his stubbornness is aimed (we the fans who call out his stupid decisions).

Jerry knows full well that the vast majority of Cowboys fans rightly identify him as the by far the biggest issue as to why the Cowboys are a bottom feeder the last 28 years when it comes to contending for a SB.

Jerry knows full well that the vast majority of Cowboys fans rightly think Jerry is a moron when it comes to being a "football guy".

The refusal to close the curtains is a middle finger to those same fans, and nothing more. He is that narcissistic that he would deliberately keep hurting his team because he simply cannot stomach the idea that the fans are correct about all of it.

I just don't understand why he doesn't at least tint them. That way you keep the aesthetics of the stadium with the glass, but it doesn't become a glaring problem (no pun intended).

Honestly, when I get to see cowboys games on TV sometimes, I've always wondered about that sunlight at times of the day when it's apparent it seems to cause more issues than any other stadium I see games on TV.

I just figured perhaps Jerry thought this topic might be dead and I was glad to see a new story on it LOL

It's stupid. What is more stupid is our OC calling plays that have WR running thru the sunlight like Lamb did.

What the hell kind of genius does that???

Jerry has failed the Cowboys in so many ways and this is just another item on the list.
This is a very good point. In theory, JJ is actually correct- the sunlight affects both teams equally, and the home team's knowledge of it gives them an advantage. The real failure here is Dallas not being aware and planning properly. It was indeed stupid.

I don't think there is much that can be done. Your QB is in the middle of the field so when a receiver runs a route and turns around he's staring directly at that point where the QB is is the center of that window and full sun. It's not really avoidable. You can't just run sideline routes for 2 quarters with much success. Makes it even worse that you can't utilize the whole field for this reason. If Jerry thinks this gives the Cowboys some kind of an advantage I don't know where it is. And what can a kicker do differently? This whole situation is truly moronic.

I don't know, Jerry has been getting a little chippy lately.
So have we fans. It's about dang time. Jerry's excuse is his pride and ego. He's a toothless tiger, a one time maverick at a time when this organization needed a guy like him. That version of him passed away after Parcels was gone. That was Jerry's last true all in move(hiring BP). I think most of what we have now are Stephen and him staying like warm on making any aggressive moves. Which is why we are just relevant enough to get attention. But never can do much more. We are the embodiment of what Jerry has become, as a team.

Anyone know if eye black works with glares like it does with direct sunlight? Even if it doesn’t it would be super funny for players to start wearing it at ATT.

Under any circumstance, at any time of day, the sun is less of an issue for a “run heavy” offense than one that is overly dependent on a passing attack. This point is obviously lost on Jerry Jones as his efforts as a general manager are oblivious to building a rushing attack. No player’s contract, no choice as head coach, no number of jersey sales can mask the Dallas Cowboys’ primary failing. It is the team’s owner, Jerry Jones.

Ok,
How about the league step in and say it’s a safety hazard. That a player is going to be unnecessarily injured because of Jerry not wanting to go to blinds4less and get some
