I don't even disagree with the plan.

Thing is.....you need to cover 30 million in dead money if you want to cut Elliott now.

That agent hosed Jerry badly on structure.

If he told him to stay in Cabo, Elliott would have eventually signed somewhere for half what Jerry gave him, and the Cowboys would be the same losers they currently are.

Hopefully lesson learned, but I don't think ego boy has ever realized the triplets thing went out with the 90s....just like the coach he gave a decade to.

Romo covered the both of them and I really wish he hadn't.

You do know how the compensatory picks work...right? A team can only receive 4.... max total. And the round you get them depends how big of a contract the player leaving receives. Your dreaming if you think someone is going to sign Gregory to a contract that will net you a 3rd.

I don't have a problem with the ideas of the cuts. Although they are correct Zeke takes a year to not cost $30M.

I just think you give them and the coaching staff one more year with an understanding with all of them. We blow it up and start all over with coaches and players if you don't make the championship game at least.

Jerry doesn't have enough years left in him to keep jacking with this stuff.

If I were made GM, I'd call Aikman to be the AGM because he has all the contacts and has experience in what it takes to succeed in the NFL.

We would tell MagicMike that he has this year to prove his worth. Him and all his coaches, so he better no have people because he needs friends.

If we succeeded great, if not, we would clean house and I would give Aikman 3 years to hire his own staff and enforce my 3 year rule on coaches and players. Discipline would happen and everyone would be accountable.
