I take it back, this is the biggest pile of BS in that interview.

The Eagles won a SB in 2017 and did so loading up on vets, etc. They followed that up by giving a huge contract to Wentz and it didn't work out. Now according to Jerry, the smartest GM in football, when Wentz failed and all those vets from the 2017 Eagles team started weighing the team down and they had to tear it apart, it should have been a "long way back".

And yet, here are the Eagles back in the SB five years later (and they have two first round picks to boot). I wish people who interview Jerry would call his *** out when he pushes total lies and BS like this.

I can't tell if he's stupid or just a liar.

Jerry is VERY set in his ways. Since the Brandan Carr mistake, he made up his mind the Cowboys are to be built thru the draft with long term success the goal. No one hit wonders.

Going all in would be mega-mega-mega stooooopid given current situ. I know lots of you are thinking with your hearts, but it makes zero sense.

Dak isn't an elite qb. Zeke is dead. Tyron Smith near the end end.

Truthfully a 1-year reset would be far better if you want a championship in the next few years. Clear the books, go 3-14 and draft a QB. The disappointment is that Jerry does just enough to keep things competitive and interesting, but only half measures. 1-year-rebuild is in order.
