Seriously when ever I think about Pacman Jones and the star on his helmet I cant seem to stop grinning..We straight up stole this guy, paid him nothing and now we have potentially the best CB in the league.

:laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: LOL @ the rest of the NFL.

He still has a long way to go before he reaches that status.......he ws well on his way to becoming an elite CB before his suspension, but he has a lot of rust to knock off

I agree there but still I think His potential is real high. I really love this move by jerry.

And He can return punts!..What's not to like:starspin

I agree with you.Tnew is the best CB we have but he sort of has reached his ceiling but Pacman has more potential-lets see if he realizes all of it.

Newman is the more established player until Pacman proves otherwise.

But I'm totally with the original poster on everything else. If he shakes off the rust, Pacman is a top 10 CB. I'm thrilled that we snagged him, just like I was thrilled loved when we snagged T.O.

Jerry's willingness to take on "controversial" players gives him a leg up on the competition.

And when I think about it, I too can't believe there weren't more teams willing to take a chance on a top 10 CB and stellar return man who is only 24 years old, regardless of his baggage. A 4th round pick is a VERY small price to pay for that kind of potential payoff.

Last year it was Randy Moss to the Pats, this year the steal of the offseason will be Pacman to the 'Boys. I love it! :)

According to Deion Sanders he was surprised at how little rust Pacman has. Now Sanders has worked with him for a while so he may have an advantage over others who have been out of the game a while.

Whoa dude. Please take off the homer glasses. He's a solid CB, but its the offseason. The glass may be half full, but its not overflowing just yet.

He will help us and improve our team no doubt, but this sounds like a Skins homer post lol

So Odd how all these fans who are proclaiming Zach Thomas a savior and leader are so quick to try to diminish a proven defensive force and say he hasn't proven anything yet.
Can't have it both ways, ya Bluttos.

Oh, and don't forget, Pacman is an beast on special teams.
Great pickup by Jerra. Bless his little Arkansas heart.

It would be funny to see Jenkins come out and be the best CB on the team. I think T-new and Pacmans styles are very different. Pacman will make more plays and will be the best corner on this team because he takes chances and gambles alot on plays. Where as T-new is consistent. Face it this is awesome that we can even have this arguement. Go Boys
