What NFL ownership group would not say the same thing?
I think he’s fine with his “legacy”. He’s lived his best life. He’s very successful. I doubt anything haunts him.I'm just thinking......not saying it's true......but, could it be that......
Jerry don't care about no future anymore?
Will he willingly trade away the next five 1st round draft picks if he's convinced it will get him a Super Bowl in 2026 or 2027?
It feels like a two year window and I'm not talking about Dak's career.
If the Cowboys come close but doesn't win it all then I think Jerry will sign every mercenary he can get his hands on for 2027.
I believe that Jerry Jones is desperate for a Super Bowl championship he can claim as 100% his very own in the dual role of Owner/GM. It is practically the only thing that has eluded him.
Jerry has fame and fortune to leave as a legacy but he knows he will never be accepted as a true football executive without a final championship, one that is minus Jimmy Johnson and the team that he built.
Not to say I don't believe you, but I live in Tampa. Listen to WDAE sportstalk on my way to and from work every day. I have no idea who this "they think" is amongst actual local sportscasters and fans. That’s the talk in Tampa. They think that’s where he is going.
are you new to the cowboys? yea, yea the merch does move itselfThose tickets and merch ain’t going to move itself
Him at NT and Q and Clark on both ends…..hard to handle. Expensive as hell though.Wouldn't hate Vita Vea
Those tickets and merch ain’t going to move itself

It wouldn't feel good if we did and we didn't have the success we thought we would! Draft day would be real boringThose tickets and merch ain’t going to move itself
