Hey guys I was sitting here talking to my wife, who's a branch manager for a bank in Highland Park. She was telling me that one of her tellers saw Jerry Jones and his wife eating Church's Chicken at a location off the 75 fwy and Knox-Henderson on Friday night. Her teller said that his wife was eating chicken with a fur coat on. Her teller held a conversation with him, but didn't ask for an autograph because he was eating. Guys this makes me feel good to know that our billionaire owner is so down to earth.

That is so true DD, it's just good to see that money didn't change him. Jerry made the money and the money didn't make him....

 to Jerry and his wife! Three cheers for Church's Chicken...:laugh2:

Jerry eats normal food?!

Hip hip hoooooooray!

You would think that his maid or butler would go and pick the food up for him, but he sat down in the fast food restaurant and ate amongst the "common folk"..........good for him!!

Really? You really believe that money didnt change Jerry?..... ok....

Well Jerry may be down to earth but apparently his wife isn't if she was eating chicken wearing a fur coat. :laugh2: It's just my opinion but when rich people over dress everywhere they go, it just seems in bad taste. No one needs to flaunt wealth like that. If I were a billionaire, I'd still dress in my shorts, t-shirts and cap.

Yea but he likes Hooters when he goes out without her. Him and jimmy used to show up regularly there back in the day..

Mmmmmm....that's some hot-*** mature action. If it gets rough, and you slap Jerry, will it make a sound like a snare-drum?

I know you weren't Mick, I was thinking about Cedric "The Entertainer" when you made that first comment. In one of his stand-ups he made the comment of someone asking him if he'd change if he got rich. He said, "heck yeah I'm going to change my address, my friends, my phone number"....etc...I agree with you on the rest of your post.....Money can buy you the things to make you happy..

He is a funny SOB....

Not just buying things to make you happy.... some people would be happy just to be able to provide for themselves and their family.

Alot marriages end due to financial problems not necessarily because one ourgrows the other.....you lose your head and then comes the divorce.....

True.......also IMo the myth that money can't buy happiness is underrated. I know people that are millionaires and were millionaires before they were married. They ended up marrying people that made $35 per year and have been happily married for at least 15 years. It's always a good feeling to know that you can live beyond pay check to pay check, and to be able to have the good things in life.

Speaking of Jones & Family,

I met Jerrys mother while on vacation in Missouri. It was in the middle of the first season he owned my Cowboys. There was a brand new Cadillac with at least 8 Cowboys decals and bumperstickers on the bumpers and windows. She was very nice and very proud of her boy. She was a huge Cowboys fan, and spoke at length with my brother and I about the team. I have no proof that she was actually his mom, but she did give us a lot of Cowboys paraphenalia out of her trunk.

She was definitely down to earth, and to use a saying from down here in East Texas, she was "good people":)

jerry's wife did come from money. the chambers family has a ton of money. but she is one of the nicest lady's you will ever meet.i've set in their box alot of times and she is as nice and down to earth as anyone you will ever meet.they give a ton to charity and while she may wear a mink coat, when she comes home for the holidays she is as down to earth as anyone.when you get jerry away from the games he is too. he is very intense at the games but is really nice and will talk to anyone if you see hi away from the games.
