He'd rather of a full stadium of BOOS than a half stadium of cheers.

If the sounds of women sobbing as you run your wrinkly liver spotted hands all over them doesn't bother you, why should the word "boo"?
If a fan of your rival tells you to keep doing the job you’re doing doesn’t make you think “I’ve done a terrible job.” Nothing will

I was there. He looked a little embarrassed actually. They had panned to a bunch of famous ppl who would waive or whatever and everyone would cheer. Right when everyone booed, they took the camera off Jerry so couldn’t get a full reaction. Still great!

He’ll never be appreciated, after all he fired Landry, didn’t he. That was the biggest first mistake he made.

att stadium holds 80,000 people at 150.00 a ticket that man pulled in 12 million in 1 night. now i know he does not keep all of that but still he’s pulling in a lot of profits. so doubt he’s caring about the boos
if he made 1 dollar he wouldn't care about the boo's because 1 dollar or 12 million he has no clue of what's going on

You are free to continue worshiping at the altar of Jerry you have in your house. Just know that you are in a very small group, and your hopes of converting others to your cult are nil.

Jerry is a heel. He embraces the gate. As long as those clowns fill up the stadium and spend on beer, food and merchandise, he could care less.

Bounces right off him.

The only opinion he cares about is his own and he thinks he is doing marvelous.
You would think so but Jerry is a sensitive guy. That's why he couldn't handle Jimmy. That whole spat that ended the dynasty was literally over Jerry's feelings. That's also why he stands on the field for 2 hours before games shaking hands and chumming it up........even road games. He needs love and adoration of the spotlight. It's also why he snaps at talk show hosts who dare ask questions he feels are disrespectful or questioning to his competence as a GM. It's why he won't hire a no-nonsense coach who might hurt his feelings and make him feel unwelcome in the locker room. He's very sensitive. Money has never been enough for him.

If nothing else it says that fans are at least beginning to be done with the crap he sells.

I’m not even so sure it’s all about that…they misevaluate far too often because they aren’t good at building a winning roster.

They rely on rookies and mid round picks/UDFA far too often, and that’s never going to add up to compete at the highest levels.

It would have looked a LOT worse if Washington and the Giants weren’t in the division. They went 11-1 vs those teams over the 12 win years, and weren’t really trying in the one loss.

If King Jerry admits that he is the right person to be held accountable for the Cowboys misery, what is all the dust up about getting booed, anyway. He accepts it and wears it like a badge of honor. KMA, you smug old sot.

The Joneses, they didn’t like them when they bought the team when he fired Landry. They didn’t like him when he got rid of Jimmy. Even though it was mutual. Forget about the Joneses. They are what they are.

Well that will never happen again. Jerry can’t let the delulu in his mind of his greatness be challenged by the reality that the vast majority of us hate his guts.

Yes, it does.
As credible team owners are accountable and don't overreach. Hire good, knowledgeable football people to run the team. And be astute enough to make the right decisions when called for.
While Jerruh smiles and says, "It's good to be the King." Business as usual.

I am in a minority and maybe a minority of a minority. I do not hate Jerry Jones. I dislike him but more importantly, I pity him.

Jones is a multibillionaire, who has achieved great notoriety along the way. He did a lot of hard work to get where he is.

However, Jones is a prisoner of his own narcissism. What he has achieved, both fame and fortune, would highly likely be much more in abundance if not for the simple self-sacrifice of surrendering his football management.

Another general manager could have led to better combinations of coaches and players than what he has tried-and-failed to put together. He knows this. Why. Because his steadfast self-denial that no one else could do what he did in the early-to-mid 90s has netted him thirty years of so-so results.

Jones overexaggerated his qualifications for running a football franchise by believing '500 coaches' can win championships if he were involved doing more than simply signing paychecks. He overinflates his self-importance about anything. Anyone thinks that is a false claim? Go to DallasCowboys.com and check out his bio. Be sure to click READ MORE because he is too pathetic summing himself up in a single paragraph.

Gratifying a narcissist is the worst thing. Getting elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame likely killed any chance of Jones awakening from his self-delusion. The man believes his peers think no one else can guide his franchise to another Super Bowl.

Jones is a legend in his own mind. He could have easily been a legend in many peoples' minds if he had the internal fortitude to control his worst enemy: himself. Pitiful.
