Acting is literally lying. An actor pretends and presents an aura of doing something real.
He is acting as himself in this instance, which makes it a facade of who he actually is. That said, it was a good acting job, although there is nothing award worthy about it.
Someone let me know if he makes another guest appearance. Maybe next time Billy Ray Thornton will ask him to do oil and gas full-time by dropping his general manager responsibilities.
Sure. That would be fake too, but it would entertaining to watch him in another scene. A scene in which he can act (e.g. lie) to another audience of how important he is to the franchise as a GM. Heaven only knows that has been his most famous acting role of all.
