What’s even the appeal of the SAS thing? Like he mocks us endlessly and on the off chance we win it one year we what? Then have to see him wear a cowboys jersey on air as he tells us he’s sick to his stomach? Has to shave his head or something silly.

You have two large groups of football fans with opinions about the Cowboys. One group loves them. Another huge group dislike them. As a broadcaster (talking head type) if you can get one of these groups in your corner you are a success ratings wise. You have appeal and members of the group follow you. And many members of the other group will watch just to complain about you. SAS has chosen to appeal to the group that dislike the Cowboys and he is good at it. That gets him great ratings and a big salary.

How he truly feels no one really knows.....and IMO no one should really care. It is just a successful and profitable act for him at this point.
