Yah, Ogletree is the new recipient of the man love now that Stanback is trying to become a QB again.

I never heard sham or laufneberg or anyone in the organization saying anything positive to be honest about stanback.

actually the last recipient was miles austin and that hasn't turned out so bad.

jerry is the one person in america who predicted austin would replace t.o.'s big plays and so far he has been proven correct.

but it is odd to see jerry keep praising a guy who isn't even active on game days.

Nice to hear about Ogleetree, but if he doesn't get any time in during the season, how is he going to develop? I saw in one game how fast Miles went from a rarely used guy that looked tentative on the field to a budding start.

thats 3.5 years of development though, although ogletree is already a wr and much far ahead of austin in his first year.

Jerry Talking about ogletree again.

Sam hurd could be in trouble here soon.

Hurd is our leading tackler on special teams, so it might be tough to deactivate him.

no doubt about it. Hurd is on the roster to play special teams, and he excels at it.

It should be interesting if all this means something or its just some talk coming from a couple of coaches and being repeated.

Who's the knuckle-dragger that called in asking a question about benching Roy Williams until he has a game with over 100 yards receiving? :banghead:

I hope it wasn't a Zoner.
:laugh2:

Miles Austin did not become this good overnight. Players actually get a ton of development time in during practice and other off-season work.

Realistically whose spot on the active roster could he take? Rossum? Preston(if he's even been active, probably hasn't)?
