Wow, some ridiculous quotes in that one. Seattle and Chicago were two games lost by the offense and special teams more than the defense. And we were missing key defensive players in both...

If you factor in that ratliff missed the start of the season and spencer missed a few games in the middle, we were missing at least one of our 5 best defensive players at every point in the season. There was not a single game all season with the whole defense healthy.

Umm.. ***? I just read the article and no where in it does Jerry even come close to saying it was his decision solely.

In all fairness, the only key person we were missing at Seattle was Barry Church in the second half. I know Ratliff played because he got a personal foul in that game.

He probably saw the Chicago and Seattle games and saw their defenses and said that's how he wants his team's defense to be. That's the only thing that makes sense to me in his pointing out of those two games.

Rob Ryan was fired because the offense was completely inept in those two games? Romo threw 5 INTs including 2 pick-6's in the Bears game for crying out loud. What a joke. If that is his reason, Garrett best be giving up play calling duties.

This whole article sums up my frustration with Jerry and JG. Garrett's offense was abysmal to start probably 6-8 games and put the team in a large hole yet he fired a guy over 2 games that bothered him?JG really is his pet.
