I am being dead serious.

Even Jerry would run the ball more.

I swear, I was so pro Garrett and was willing to go through growing pains. But it's obvious there is no growing... Just pains.

Jerry Jones could have coached us to a win tonight. How crazy is that?

I agree Jones would be a better game day coach. Garrett is just really bad in the game. It is very difficult to explain given his intelligence...

My goodness. I agree, very to explain.

I liken it to, " he was a backup QB" not good enough to be a starter.

This is the craziest thing ever written on this board, and you know something, you're right.
Any idiot would continue to run the ball or at least attempt it a few more times than Garrett did.

Jerry said Callahan called the plays.

I'm not all for running the ball all the time, but mix it in. They didn't do that in stretches, it was just pass, pass, pass, pass, pass. You would never see them run, run , run , run, run, etc.

A 3rd grader could have done a better job than Garrett today. Jerry probably could have too.

Why did you start this thread? You trying to encourage Jerry to coach, right, Mrs. Jones.

Jerry Jones hired the unqualified head coach. It's his fault. He is the biggest issue with this team.

I would say that Callahan suggests plays to Garrett, who then relays the play to Romo. Garrett can choose any play he wants Romo to run, not necessarily Callahans. Its funny that since Thanksgiving Garrett has been carrying the play sheet, looking at it and calling plays while reading it.

If Garrett wanted running plays, he could have over wrote everyone of Callahan's suggestions.

I am all for Jerry Jones throwing on the headphones and taking the sideline. He controls the rest of the team anyway.

Here's my proposition to Jerry (assuming I had any leverage, which I don't): You coach the last three games and if we get into the playoffs, you can coach next season. If we don't get in, you agree to hire a GM, give up all football management activities and never talk to the media about anything football-related again. A man can dream!

Win-Win for us.

Jerry would run "student body left and student body right" "off tackle" and "middle dive" and Dallas would have won by 3 scores....

Go back and look at what happened against Detroit in 2011. We were winning 27-3 in the 3rd quafter. JG did the same thing in that game and we ended up losing. We were running well in that game yet we passes and passed and ended up losing 34-30

Seriously, this guy is the most unintelligent game time coaches I have ever seen. Him abandoning the run is akin to accepting a free ride from Greyhound on a trip across country and then hopping of the bus and telling them he would rather walk. The guy is incredibly thick headed and narrow minded in the area of game awareness. His thought process is as surreal as the historic Cowboys losses under his watch.

A lot of "couch" coaches can coach better than Garrett. The guy's "in" for the Cowboy's HC position was "backup QB on a 90s SB team", "throw it up to Michael Irvin on Thanksgiving Day" and friend of the Jones' family. That's why he's coach of this team.

Come on man. Jerry is already the coach. But he would do better on the field with the clock. Hell most posters here would. It's not that hard.

Well, it seems Jerry can coach better than Kiffin. It was Jerry's idea to blitz more and it actually worked for a half. This, however, is not an endorsement of Jerry taking any coaching duties.......

who are you kidding. Jerry is the coach. Giving player updates, post game interviews, publicly speaking on how kiffin should run things. When do people wake up and realize that Jason is only a token figure. If you think firing Jason Garrett changes anything...your in for a rude awaking.
