Jones, to his credit, didn’t completely give up hope on the team’s 2017 campaign, and said the following when addressing its players in the locker room.

“I’m really not shaken,” Jones said, after the 28-6 loss to the Chargers, via ESPN’s Todd Archer. “I am disappointed.”

Jones may not be shaken, but Thursday’s loss may have been the nail in the coffin for the Cowboys’ playoff hopes.

Im about done with Garrett, even if hes not the problem, I think its time for a change. No adjustments, no discipline, no imagination in play calling, offense or defense. I mean a statue could coach this team and do no worse than Garrett, I say fire the whole staff and start over. We have good players, but the same results every week, this is getting old.

Jerry needs to be disappointed in himself. The FO did NOTHING of note in free agency and continues to run this Garrett experiment into the ground. We've already wasted the careers of several HISTORICAL greats here. Witten will never get a ring. Romo never got one. Sean Lee won't get one. Dez Bryant won't get one. Dan Bailey won't get one... These guys are phenomenal players, but they have never even gotten out of the second round of the playoffs so we can continue to teach Garrett the game.

But don't think for one second though he thinks it's the staff.

Not kidding

Scott Linehan and old man Rod better not buy in real estate in the Dallas market, they will have to be some scalps to offer up to the fans for this chit seasons and we all know Jerry's illegitimate son is willing to toss coordinators under the bus to save his own skin.

This hasn't been a well run organization for 22+ years.
Who do you think's fault is that Jerry?

Woah woah woah. Dan Bailey is a kicker and can play for another decade if he doesn’t get the yips. I’ll agree with the others, but it’s too early to write Bailey off.

Well, thanks a lot for articulating such an obvious revelation, Jerry!

Saying "we're not a very good team right now" is surely an understatement.

Relatively speaking, it's a whole lot like stating the Marquis De Sade wasn't very nice.

The fact that he had to go down in the locker room to try and Salvage the team speaks volumes of his disappointment in the entire coaching staff.
This point he's holding onto hope that will do what the Giants did a couple years ago and come back to win it all. Next Thursday will kill that dream LOL.
No if we are eliminated from the playoffs, he will start looking to make changes. he's getting too old to just let it go he's not a young Jerry anymore and he realizes that.
There have been many examples over the years Howa fresh coaching staff comes in takes over a young talented team put the players in the right positions and have instant success hopefully somebody has in his ear telling him this

Somewhat dated meme, but the bottom line is still true:

JJ Has built an amazing stadium doing all sorts of events and is probably raking in the money. How can he not be stoic. JJ is a business man and he's accomplished his goals I believe. I can't say he doesn't care a bout the team but I can't see him worrying too much as long as he's bringing in millions of dollars.

If this team made the playoffs, I doubt they would go to far. I'd hate for them to go to the SB and blow it or get blown out.
