The Cowboys spent plenty in a number of years after 1995, and that's what got them in a bind with the salary cap for many years. All about the benjamins.
the cowboy way since 1995.
As well as the loss of draft picks that could offset some of the high prices with high quality player at rookie prices. The reality is a players value in a trade these days is directly tied to the amount of cap his salary will eat up.
I'm sure Jerry loves the idea of Adams. I'm sure Adams talent is worth a #1 pick.
I'm just not sure you trade a #1 pick for the rights to make someone the highest paid player at their position.
Nobody should be shocked

So much for the Jamal Adams brouhaha.
Thank the heavens.
So sick of the Adams talk.
To give the Jets a 1st for him AND have to pay him an outrageous amount of money would be beyond stupid.
Have you been away from the forum for the past week or two?
I read the various posts/threads...
Just knew it would be a black-hole posting because the irrational won't listen.
