EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, minutes afterhis team's loss on Sunday to the New York Giants, defended his investment in daily fantasy company DraftKings.

"From my perspective, anything that follows the rules, that causes and creates more interest and more fan participation, I'm really for," Jones said. "So I'm a supporter and that's the rules that we'll test is put your money where your mouth is."

Jones said he wouldn't comment on any specifics regarding the business model because he isn't involved in a day-to-day capacity.

NFL teams are not allowed to invest in the daily fantasy companies, but their owners are. Jones owns a stake in DraftKings, as does the New England Patriotsownership group, The Kraft Group.

Nothing wrong a NFL GM owning essentially what is a gambling site.

More power to him.

Knowing this, nothing will come of the latest political investigations of fantasy sports.

The hypocrisy of the NFL has no limits.

It won't play in Vegas because of the betting and players like Romo can't use casinos for conventions. They fight New Jersey who needs sports betting to save it's casinos but plays in London where betting is on every corner.

But it promotes the heck out of Draft Kings because the money is flowing in. DFF is gambling.
