Going back to the playoff lost last season to Philadephia 44-6, the fans and media wanted Jerry to fire Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett. If Jerry would have fired WP and JG, do we as fans and media honestly believe that the Cowboys would have made this playoff run?
Jerry has learned more about football business being the owner/gm for 20 years than most give him credit for including myself, most fans and the media. First of all, Jerry is around the team and coaches daily and has first hand in-formation not the fans nor media. The past couple of drafts has been good, and the free agent pickups (K Hamlin, G Sensabaugh, I Olshansky, K Brookings L Davis etc.). I know some will disagree about Hamlin, but he did make the pro bowl his first seasons with the Boys. The future appears bright with the team headed in the right direction. Recently, Jerry has made the right decisions regarding coaches, players to retain, release and free agency. Therefore, I feel he deserves credit!!!!!
