Ive been in Houston the last few days and words cant describe the kindness and generosity Ive seen. Driving in through high water, routing and re routing I was still seeing tons of private citizens hauling thier boats in and looking to help. My fire station was overwhelmed with food and well wishes from the community. I have to admit after being on the job for some years and seeing the evil that lies within people I am genuinely taken a back by the acts of loving kindness I have witnessed. Houstonians, Texans, citizens and first responders from all over should be proud of how they handled themselves during this crisis. My cynicism for the world has been blunted to say the least.
Jerry Jones has always had a big heart IMHO, players love to play for him and theres a reason for that. Jerry takes care of his own. As a Cowboys fan Im proud to see him step up and take care of others as well.
