Twitter: Jerry Jones on Amari Cooper status

Without Gallup, it gets really scary if Cooper or Lamb go down,..

With the way we are implement and flexing Pollard more in the offense, i can't wait to see what this
offense will look when Gallup returns .. !

It will look the same. 1-2 plays a game where Dak heaves a jump ball to Gallup would be the only difference. I think this week we might see Mr. Wilson get a shot on one of those deep balls.

I love Jerry’s intentions on trying his best to make us winners, but I hate that Jerry doesn’t believe by getting out the way he would help us immensely. I just wish he would help by stop talking.

Can we trade the Eagles for Davonte Smith? I mean we are responsible for him being an Eagle, least they could do is loan him to us for one game.

Not surprised. Hopefully Noah Brown and Cedrick Wilson can step up. CeeDee will have to be #1 this week.

He is tough. Hopefully he can take the pain. I am sure the egirls are aware of it.
He is a WR and a rib injury can be dealt with,, I was so glad it wasnt a knee related or shoulder injury when he went down.
Coop is a pros pro, and he will play vs the Eagles... bank on it.

(RotoWire) Cowboys president Jerry Jones expressed uncertainty about Cooper's (rib) availability for Monday's game against the Eagles, but he's "hopeful" the star wideout will be ready to play in the Week 3 matchup, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. "I don't know today. I'm hopeful those ribs can get comfortable enough for him to play by the weekend, but I don't know," Jones said Tuesday during his radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan Dallas.

Analysis: Cooper came away from this past weekend's 20-17 win over the Chargers with a bruised rib, though the injury didn't prevent him from playing all but two of the Cowboys' 60 offensive snaps. According to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, head coach Mike McCarthy said Cooper's injury originated from the Cowboys' season-opening loss to the Buccaneers, so the wideout's status for Week 3 may ultimately come down to a matter of pain tolerance. Even if Cooper suits up for the Cowboys' first divisional game, he'll likely have his practice reps managed to some extent Thursday through Saturday.

I think they will hit him on medium to long passes as quick as possible. Get some plays and hoping points from him early. Then he maybe a decoy unless they let off of him. Then hit on a bomb.

I believe you,, a bruised rib for Coop isnt going to slow him down.
WRs are allowed to run free these days,, even if he has a broken rib, he can be a decoy without fear of escalating the injury,, its a rib,, they make flap jackets, like 20 years ago.
So I seriously doubt this keeps Coop from playing and being effective.

Jerry with the pay ops. McCarthy will come out tomorrow and say ‘not so fast.’ And the Eagles will have no idea until game time.

The Eagles have no idea if Parsons is a LB or a DE. They have to plan for both. And they have to plan for both Pollard and Elliott.
