Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on how prepared his family is to run the franchise after him: "As far as operational, I'm as content if I got hit by a car tomorrow that the management of the future has been prepared, been through it, had their ups and downs, certainly had some success and certainly had their share of failure. I'm prepared for all of that. I'm fortunate that my family has that right there."

I really wish I could. I wish I could erase them from my memory and never watch another game. We've all wasted 30 years on this team. 30 years of time and emotional investment at the very least, and some of us have bought thousands of dollars in merchandise and tens of thousands in tickets and travel expenses.

When is enough going to be enough? How long do they think they can keep lying and stealing from us? We have been some of the most loyal fans in the NFL and this is how we're rewarded? Jerry and Steven and the rest of the front office are the scum of the earth. And I don't care to spell the dirtbag's name correctly.

And on top of that, how many Hall of Fame players have completely wasted their careers here? It's incredible. They have no conscience.
 
Stephen is 60, so what..... only 25ish years to wait him out?

We can do that in our sleep.

Your family had the worst teacher imaginable as far as successful football management.

'Been through it' is 30 years of never even reaching the NFC Championship game during those few postseason opportunities.

'Ups and downs' have been mostly downs.

'Had some success' reads like your Pro Football Hall of Fame biography (fluff).

'Had their share of failure' which you guided them headlong into.

"I'm prepared for all of that'. Not 'they are prepared for all of that'. "I'm" Cannot stop talking about himself.

He is fortunate for all of the above.
