Jerry Jones on KRLD-Fm on T. Williams: "He's such an overachiever along with physical talent."
Jerry Jones: "We don't want to give up a high draft pick for a defensive lineman right now."
Jerry Jones on Ware's timetable: "We'll be pretty conservative. We'll need him down the road." But he also didn't rule him out for Philly.
Jerry Jones acknowledges that Ratliff may not play this season. "It's still ambiguous."
Jones rules Murray out for Philly. "Randle could be a good replacement on a full-time basis."
Jerry Jones on Bon Jovi: "He's become quite a friend to our family."...He's also very interested in becoming an NFL owner."

Ian Fitzsimmons ‏@Ianfitzespn 4m
Jerry Jones just said on his radio show that his biggest concern right now is his d-line b/c of injuries and numbers.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 4m
Jerry Jones said on radio the NBC reporter was accurate regarding Jay Ratliff possibly not playing again this year.
Jerry Jones said the Cowboys are not positive about Jay Ratliff injury as there remains ambiguity. Decision coming about his roster spot

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 7m
Jerry on KRLD-FM about DeMarco Murrray: "We'll miss him certainly this week and we'll see from there."
Jerry on Jay Ratliff: "We've got a situation that's not positive as far as him getting on the field this year." Meant injury, not drama.
Jerry says on KRLD-FM that RB Lance Dunbar (hamstring) is expected to miss second straight game.

Nick Eatman ‏@nickeatman 6m
Jerry Jones tells 105.3 'the fan' that Murray will be out this week. Ware could go, but they'll likely be conservative with him.

Yeah, isn't he a big Giants fan (being a NJ native)?

I think if you are hanging around with Jerry there is noway you wouldn't become a Cowboys fan. So who knows? But I think he would be a breath if fresh air as an owner. Maybe bring a little bit if flair with him? I think it's pretty cool that this is something he would want to do. Who knows maybe he knows football. We have no idea

I would bench him until Dec 15. Let him completely heal up and be ready for the last three games, two of which could be for the division crown.

Do you think Bon Jovi has enough money to be a sole owner of a team? I am not sure he does, that takes extreme wealth or partners for part ownership. I agree it would add a new element to the league.

No I don't think he does. I do think there would be partners like what they did here with the Dodgers. But he might have the money to be a majority owner. I have looked up what his wealth is or what other Businesses he's involved with. So who knows? I would think he is gathering info about cost and approval from the league and if anyone is actually interested in selling. Which I wonder who would even be interested? Actually with all this talk of putting a team in London maybe an international star such as him wouldn't be a bad idea.

He could proably ask the rest of his band to join him. The wealth of the entire band would likely be enough. If not, he easily knows enough people to get the money.

The problem for him is that it's pretty tough to get in. It's an exclusive club. With expansion not on the horizon, he would have to buy an existing team. And I'm not sure any are for sale. Tom Cruise has been trying to get in the league for years and he's still waiting.

With regards to Tom Cruise getting I believe that won't happen. I think there are issues about image and things he is involved with etc... I would think Bon Jovi would get in before him. Especially if you have Jerry Jones in your side.

I read that his net worth is at 300 million. Not enough to buy a team outright, might could get a loan though, esp with his earning potential outside of the game.

If he gets in, at least we know what the halftime entertainment will be for future Super Bowls. :)

We've had a lot worse lately.
