Did they really ask him that? Are they just out of ideas?

I mean, did they get to ask him if pete rose should be in the hall of fame?

or maybe his opinion on the bcs?

I too would appreciate a re-cap. I hate to listen to Jerry and try to decipher what he is saying. Few people, IMO, understand what he says. I don't think he understand what he says.

He said he got his kneepads out for the man upstairs. :

Really, he did... Talking about his oft-told joke about making a deal with God for that third Superbowl.

There wasn't much that was all that interesting IMO... Just the usual talk about the Eagles game, how the team has come back from a few weeks ago when the talk was about firing the coach, and the requisite Roy to Tony talk. Talked about what a difference Joe D has made on special teams, and complimented "Bue-ler".

The most interesting thing by far IMO was at the very end when he talked about regretting firing Chan Gailey too quickly after just two years. He said "That's not fair; that's not right."

He also said that he has "made this too hard over the last 15 years". He said he's gotten too cute at times and has taken too many shots in trying to get that Superbowl. (Joey Galloway?)

The man upstairs? I would beg to differ.

Joey was a drop in the bucket....................

He also said the way austin is coming on, jerry doesnt see anyway he spends a # 1 draft pick for a wr in next years draft, not with austin, crayton, roy and young ogletree coming on

jerry did say that he is asking God for a superbowl again in reference to the Man upstairs asking for that 3rd superbowl and here he is again asking

jerry did say that he didnt let gailey run long enough as a head coach when he was here
. jerry did admit he was wrong on not keeping gailey long enough

so his thinking process is to give a head coach more of a chance, thats probably why we had the years with campo and parcells

I'd say if he's "getting out the kneepads", he's doing more than just "asking"...

the most interesting part to me, was what thefan said afterwards something along the lines of jerry jones being the cowboys general manager, admitting mistakes, taking risks, and willing to change; listening to other people around him etc like (stephen jones, tom ciwoski maybe)

Whether he does or not, your comment was totally inappropriate.

I wonder what this is all about. He has mentioned this before ... recently. Curious to know what made him feel this way and continue to bring it up.
