Our definition of a 2nd round player have to be ultimately and quickly a starter.

Nickel LB is technically a starting position

But I think that's going to be Lee this year. Have a hard time thinking Carter is going to make much impact this year coming off the injury if he's limited in training camp.

Explain Martellus Bennett please.

Actually, I don't think a 2nd rounder is an immediate starter but it is an immediate contributor.

Bennett starts quite a lot and plays over 50% of the offensive plays. You have to look at total snaps for a player and not if he starts.

We took the best player available, with star potential, at a future need position and people are still complaining?

Seriously:

OLB Spencer (I still believe in him)
ILB Carter
ILB Lee
OLB Ware

Who's not excited about throwing that much athleticism and speed out there?

I think Lee is likely to take over Brookings spot with Keith coming in on certain packages.

Last year they said Lee was suited to the nickel spot...of course that was from Wade, so who knows. I think Lee is now seen as more the future replacement for SILB, Brady Jame...and Carter for WILB, Brooking

Wade said specifically that he was NOT suited for the nickel spot.

But I think that had more to do with the fact that he was lost in coverage at times.

You mean Wade was lost in coverage right? :D

The people on this board with the "I never heard of him so he must not be any good" mindset.

I think everyone was lost in the coverage that Wade's shadow cast.
