do a little research on LA before 2002. There were DTs that asked their teams to put them on the injured list so when LA destroyed them in the game they had an excuse.

So tell me all the offensive linemen that our defensive linemen fear right. I'd like to know now, and I'm sure our coaches would, too. Let's make sure when we play Miami, we don't have an offensive linemen in the game that fears Suh. Let's make sure we don't let Nick Hayden play against New England if he's scared of their center.

Do you think Zack Martin feared JJ Watt last year? Do you think Aaron Donald feared Martin in practice?

No. Good gosh, this is such a ridiculous conversation. LOL

You said NFL players don't fear other players, someone posted a video of a former NFL player admitting to being afraid of another and suddenly this discussion is ridiculous to you? Okay, haha

Brady Poppinga. LOL. Not a defensive tackle, and barely a professional football player. He's probably a-scared of Lance Dunbar.

Allen blocked and overpowered a lot of players, but he didn't hurt any more guys than any other linemen. Please.

The concept of players being afraid of Larry Allen is well documented. His opponents like Jon Randle have told the story. It is not just a Cowboys fan type story.

People were afraid of Erik Williams also although part of that was because he played outside the rules.

Peppi Zellner and Eb Ekuban wanted to quit football because they hated practicing against LA.

Yep. "Allenitis" was a thing. They even had to name it.

They weren't afraid of him, as in being emotionally scared to play him. They just hated playing against him because he made them look like trash.

It's not like he was knifing them at the bottom of piles, or gouging their eyes out. He just beat them. Badly. He imposed his will on them, and there's nothing they could do.

Corners are "afraid" to cover Dez or Megatron in the same way.

Michael Strahan said it too. He ratted on his own teammates, said some would fake illness or injury not to face Larry Allen.

I usually agree with you but not on this one. I think they were "emotionally scared" to face Larry Allen. We tend to think that because these guys are NFL players, they aren't scared of anyone. But men get scared of other men too. They won't always admit it, but they do get scared. There are just some guys you mentally don't want to mess with, and they put fear in you.

When you have John Randle and Michael Strahan - two Hall of Fame defensive linemen - saying that guys would fake injury not to play Larry Allen (and I heard BOTH of them say it), that ain't just hating to play against him because he made them look like trash.

Deion made many a quarterback and wide receiver look like trash. But I don't remember anyone saying they faked injury so they could avoid going one-on-one with him.

I think Randle's and Strahan's confessions are astounding as they are accurate.

You're right. I won this argument three hours ago.

I wasn't even aware there was an argument. Humans experience fear, football players are human. Football player goes on to say he experienced fear.

There is no argument, you are just delusional.

Wrong!

They were afraid of getting hurt.

You're normally a good poster but you're pooping the bed on this topic.

That's unless you are standing across from Larry Allen.

Or across fro Erik Williams in his prime.

Those two next to each other were simply unreal! It's too bad Erk William never had chance to reach his full potential with car wreck. I see him as a mean *** Tyon Smith.

Big E was better than Tyron...
