Waaait a minute. So what you're saying is Jerry thinks we had Joe Burrow all the time and mixed the name up? Jesus! Maybe we have won number 6 already in his mind!

Jerry manages to come up with one of his wishful thinking gems, now and then. "It's a stretch" in the kindest sense of that phrase. :muttley:

Our GM, ladies and gents.

It could have been an honest mistake on his part. The man constantly yammers 24/7. Not too many people could process the sheer amount of gibberish that escapes his mouth on a daily basis. He might have temporarily forgot who he was talking about.

On the other hand, misidentifying people is a sign of cognitive regression. This would be a first-time example that stands out. He will not be shutting up anytime soon, so observers should help try identifying a repetitive pattern of this happening again.

By the way...Noah does deserve some kudos. If he can continue to play and contribute you are watching a real NFL WR develop.

He made some great plays at Ohio State, but didn't have a ton of PT under his belt. A true project that's paid off from both sides. HE coulda flamed out into obscurity but kept working it.

You may not return to your regular scheduled programming.

Al Davis' family allowed him to remain in control of the Raiders franchise when there were clear symptoms of dementia. It is rare when family or legal guardians do not step in and handle the problem. It is even rarer when a multi-million or billion dollar enterprise is involved.

The Jones family would be faced with a difficult choice if their patriarch does mentally regress. They can pretend he is old grandpa. Or they can take responsibility.

This is all lip service because Jerry knows the fan base has turned on him and his penny pinching son that masquerades as a NFL GM. What's sad is they're showing their true colors because what matters to them most is the money and if fans get disgruntled then their pockets suffer. They'll throw anything out in the media now to calm down the fires around them.

Lol. I have heard others calling Brown Wilson also. I think because they wished they would have kept him. I do. He was starting to contribute more and more.

Probably why we're hearing Stephen more lately not that that's any better.
