Jerry was on with mike doocy tonight on fox 4's the score, and he said a couple of interesting things.

Terry glenn is ok and he will practice tomorrow.

The new stadium will have a corporate sponsor (duh)

and finally in regards to talking to ellis, he said he plans to talk to him soon but will not talk about money and he is not getting anymore, jerry said giving more money to ellis would equal taking money from romo and newmans upcoming contracts, there is not enough to go around.

and then jerry said I plan to meet with ellis this week unless he retires. Hello!

So either jerry and ellis are really at odds or they are both really holding their ground knowing it is august. I thought ellis said he wouldnt retire today, but jerry apparently didnt get the message.

anyway thought that was interesting.

I will put the video up of the jerry interview, the wade phillips interview and Tony Romo on with Babe Laufenberg tomorrow as soon as I get a chance.

oh and doocy talked to the idiot eagles fans and here is what these retards said.....

the first guy said we are here to see if romo has figured out how to hold for a field goal, another guy wanted to watch romo fumble in practice and then they all laughed and said Dallas sucks and did the eagles ****** chant, sorry for offending any retards.

also deion was on complaining about parcells. I Hate deion so much it isnt funny, three weeks ago before I left for new york sanders was on with ben and skin on the ticket, this was a few days before the federal indictment, he said Vick is a great guy who never leaves his house and sits around and plays the playstation and would never be involved in anything like that, he said he knew for a fact vick had nothing to do with it because he goes to visit him....

moron. I really cant stand sanders and the fact that he is hosting the cowboys training camp show tomorrow is awful. He stinks, flat out stinks.

I wonder if McNabb will puke again this year in the playoffs.

That is, if they even make the playoffs.

Deion's the man. I don't care that he runs off at the mouth in his post-football career. He helped us bring in Lombardi #5, and for that I'll always love the guy.

Deion could take lessons from high-functioning retards on how to form a complex thought. He's disrespectful, arrogant, and was part of the 94 Niner team that circumvented the salary cap in order to get past the Cowboys. I'll always remember the guy as a Falcon.

He joined the 49ers because he went after the money... you can't blame him for that.

A lot of your criticisms of Deion could be attributed to Michael Irvin or Emmitt as well... do you dislike those guys too?

Bottom line: we don't win Lombardi #5 if we didn't bring him into Dallas. Hell, he even had the longest play from scrimmage in that game... a 46 yard reception in the 1st quarter. He was, and still is, the greatest cover CB in the history of the game.

He gave 100% as a Cowboy, occasionally fighting through turf toe or back spasms to stay in games. Not to mention taking his share of reps at WR, even starting a full game at both CB and WR.

Do I even need to bring up what he brought us as a punt returner?

He was a Cowboy for 5 years, same amount of time he was a Falcon... so he's just as much a Cowboy to me as he was a Falcon. Especially since he won a ring as a Cowboy.

So, he's a crappy analyst... who cares? 80% of ex-jocks make crappy analysts, and that might be lenient.

Sorry, I just don't get the hatred for Deion from 'Boys fans... if you were an Eagles or Giants fan, I'd understand completely. :starspin

Actually, I can. He was a 49er. I hold it against Ken Norton, too, for that matter. We won't get into him also wearing a Commander jersey since we all got to enjoy how that worked out.

Sorry. There are reasons to dislike Michael Irvin, but they're not the same reasons for disliking Deion. There's no comparison between Emmitt and Deion embarrassing himself off the field unless you're talking about Dancing with the Stars, which, I still contend, never really happened.

You won't catch me saying he wasn't a great player. I just think he's an ******. I'd rather have had the third Super Bowl in '94 and taken our chances without Deion and with whatever moves we would have made otherwise with his money in '95.

I also can't stand the way Deion simpers and sucks on TO. And I particularly dislike him making fun of Coach Parcells big, beautiful boobs on the NFL network.

I'm not just saying he's a crappy analyst. I'm reminding you of his barber shop segments. I see those and I want the barber to mciver him just to make him shut up. Not really, but, well, yeah, kind of really.

I'll get you a link for one of the babershop segments. Then you can tell me some more about how the turf-toe affected his end zone celebrations.

I'd take Deion the analyst over Emmitt the analyst any day... seriously. Emmitt isn't as cocky, but he's just as big a train-wreck with a mic in his hand. Plus he's never entertaining or witty, which Deion SOMETIMES is (when he's not acting like a moron).

Oh, and "Dancing With The Stars" was a PR move and nothing more. Plus, it was nice seeing Mario Lopez have to settle for 2nd yet again, like he did in "Saved By The Bell" (since we all know Zach Morris >>> A.C. Slater). Poor Mario... always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
I'd rather have had the third Super Bowl in '94 and taken our chances without Deion and with whatever moves we would have made otherwise with his money in '95.
I'm not so sure it's accurate to assume we would've won it all in '94 even if Deion was not a 49er. Remember, we fell behind 21-0 early, and Deion had nothing to do with that. He got away with PI on Irvin late, but even a call there and a subsequent TD would have merely put us behind by 3.
I'm reminding you of his barber shop segments.
Please don't. I almost had his "We goin' priiiime-time!" crap out of my head from the regular season.

Despite it all, though... I'll always remember and love him as the dominant CB who helped us reach sports immortality by winning our 5th. Which is why I'll always be a Deion fan. If his post-football career makes my ears occasionally bleed in the process, so be it.

I always listen to Deion intently. Not because he has anything much to add to the topic, but because of the sheer consistency of his outlook, which is the most anti-authoritarian perspective on EVERYTHING that comes up.

It goes beyond the 'rebel' viewpoint and skirts the anarchist. Really, you have to know Deion will trash any coach who deigns to show he is in charge, defend anyone accused by the government, and take the part of any player who he thinks is being victimized, rushed to judgment, or publically flamed by 'the man'.

It's fascinating to listen to someone so relentlessly anti-authority - authority of ALL kinds. If he were 16, it would be amusing, and understandable. At Deion's age, the knee jerking to what he seems to consider a libertarian outlook is bizarre.

But I will give him A+ on his consistency.

I wish one of our QBs would have gotten himself in position to puke in a superbowl or even an NFC championship in the last 10 years

LOL.....true.

You could have also used "gotten themselves a playoff victory in the past 10 years" too...

Sanders jumped from team to team in search of as many SB rings as possible.

God speed, Tin Man.
