I love the way everyone said he finally changed when he hired Parcells. Yet the day BP walked out of Valley Ranch Jerry went right back to his same old failed ways.

After the Barry Switzer error, er era, you'd think he would've learned his lesson then. But he just continued on until he drove them into the ground with multiple 5-11 seasons.

Then after he got desperate and hired Parcells to clean up his mess, you'd think he'd see that his way at least got us from annual 5-11 seasons to the playoffs and it was working. But no, once BP left Jerry went right back to his cupcake coaches, controlling the staff, bringing in malcontents and basically ruining any real chance the franchise had at making a serious run.

Now Jerry is once again preaching "change" while at the same time preaching continuity. What a load of horse****, from the biggest horse's *** in the league.

Anyone who trades for a guy like Pacman Jones and then has to go hire bodyguards for him so he won't start anymore fights where people get shot is an absolute idiot.

What effects are there from having a large diving bird tied around your neck?

Jerry Jones: The Albatross around the Cowboys' neck

Hear the rime of the ancient (general)manager
See his eye as he stops one of three
Mesmerizes all of the journalists
Stay here and listen to the nightmares of the team

And the music plays on, as the bride passes by
Caught by his spell and the mariner tells his tale.

Driven south to the land of the snow and ice
To a place where nobody's been
Through the snow fog flies on the albatross
Hailed in God's name, hoping good luck it brings.

And the ship sails on, back to the North
Through the fog and ice and the albatross follows on.

(Jimmy Johnson Era)
The manager fires the coach of good omen
His fanbase cry against what he's done
But when the fog clears, they justify him
And make themselves a part of the crime.

Sailing on and on and north across the sea
Sailing on and on and north 'til all is calm.

(the WR curse years - Irvin, Galloway etc)
The firing of the coach begins with its vengeance
A terrible curse a thirst has begun
His fanbase blame bad luck on the manager

About his neck, the dead bird is hung.

And the curse goes on and on at sea
And the thirst goes on and on for them and me.

(this is the decade of suffering for us fans)
"Day after day, day after day,
we stuck nor breath nor motion
as idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean
Water, water everywhere and
all the boards did shrink
Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink."

(our team going into December - pick a year, any year)
There calls the manager
There comes a ship over the line
But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide
.

"One after one by the star dogged moon,
too quick for groan or sigh
each turned his face with a ghastly pang
and cursed me with his eye
four times fifty three living men
(and I heard nor sigh nor groan)
with heavy thump, a lifeless lump,
they dropped down one by one."

The curse it lives on in their eyes
The manager he wished he didnt try
Along with the fanbase
But they lived on, so did he.

And by the light of the moon
He prays for their success not doom
With heart he blesses them
God's creatures all of them too.

(our future if Jerry ever gets it or if may be Stephen takes over)
Now the curse is finally lifted
And the manager sights his place
thoughts from the long time football men
Form their own light and the manager leaves the team alone.

There's a rebuilding process after a dynasty.....This would happen no matter what.

Typically, the Jones bashers use the well its been 13 years deduction argument. This post is just whining. Bravo, Bach.

I can't imagine being a Cowboy fan and a Jerry hater.

I won't speak to your life in general, but your life as a sports fan must be miserable.

Miserable Miserable Miserable!

I'm not saying you have to be a robot or a "Jones appoligist".

This man has made mistakes and should be called on it.

It's just this idea that he's an idiot, meddeling owner who never has or never will get it right.

If you truely feel this way. If you can't see any good in what he has done or what he will do, YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER TEAM.

I'm not suggesting this because I don't agree with you or that I wish you would all shut up. Athough this is true, it's not the reason.

I'm conerned for you own mental health and well being.

Jerry Jones is the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys.

THIS......WILL.........NOT.........CHANGE!

Except it. Get over it. Try to understand the benefits of it.

Oh look, another Jerry Jones apologist.
Not sure how you came up with that idea.

I just think that of the hundreds of Jerry bashing threads we have had since the season ended and really question the reason to start another.
