How can you sell 8-8, 8-8, and 8-8 as progress to anyone?

I can't even see the suckers buying that any longer.
People have been buying it for the most part of 17 years. Jerry see's no reason people won't keep buying his tickets.

How many of you complaining would still buy his tickets??????

The only thing I buy is the Sunday Ticket. I haven't bought any Cowboys merchandise in years. I wouldn't walk across the street to fill a seat in that stadium.

I haven't even paid for that for the last two years.

I went to see them play Tampa Bay last year, but only because the entire thing was comped and the family basically pushed me to do it.

Otherwise, there was no way.

Haven't bought a shirt, sweatshirt, cap, jersey, anything in over two years.

I back up my discontent in actions too.

Those people need to wake up and start thinking about who and what they're giving their hard-earned money to.

And a lot of fans would poke fun of you, stash, for your stance. As if you can change things.

But I disagree. What you're doing is assuring that you aren't part of the problem. You do not feed the beast that destroys this team. If the entire fan base followed your lead there'd be significant change tomorrow.

What else can we do as fans of this team? Don't support the owner and hope for change.

Made the bed and now we have to lay in it.

I would prefer to get one really bad season s things can get better than pretending like the probs dont exist

I'm a big boy, I can handle it. I would much prefer action over indifference.

Let me be a pariah over a lemming any day. You can stand for something, or fall for anything. Your choice. In my opinion, there's too much 'meh' in the world already, leading to a lot of bad things happening.

I would like to think so. And history has proven it to be true time and time again. If people want change, any type of change, they have to take the time and effort to act on it. Only then can change happen.

Apathy only gets you more of the same.

There's just one problem, it seems now every cowboy hater I know buys me something from the team (shirt, cap, magnet, etc.) just to rub it in. So it's not only about not buying, but you have to not care at all...

I can guarantee you Stephen Jones is part of this mess... If anybody could change this whole scherade by advising his father in the right direction, it could be him. But he's probably even dumber than his father and his father isn't dumb, just egotistical and going, what appears to be, senile. At least his father made a fortune on his own.

I agreed with everything up until senile. Jerry isn't senile. He didn't lose anything. He's never had it.

And he scared the hell out of me yet again. he said that in the years ahead they will keep doing what they have been doing. Restructuring vets contract. instead of trying to get the cap in order.why would anyone Restructure Witten, Ware or Miles Austin right now.. once again cowboys fans, he is going to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.there is no hope folks. this man is the owner of this team and he is saying the hell with fans. he is going to keep doing what he has doing.this is just pitiful.

I listened to that entire interview and I didn't hear this at all. They talked about the game, Kiffin, Ware and his health/aging but I heard nothing about restructuring deals.

I recall years ago a # of posters were laughed at for suggesting we were becoming the Dallas version of Al Davis' Raiders.

Now, all but a handful acknowledge we're already there.
