Oh boy! I am getting nervous already. For all of our sakes I sure hope Jerry has learned from his past draft failures.
I sure hope he is listening to Ireland.
I sure hope some of our past draft success was not all Parcells.
I sure hope Parcells rubbed off on Jerry.

I sure hope Jerry has that board set up right and sticks to it. No Tony Dixon's, Quincy Carter's, or Dwayne G's.

PLEASE, PLEASE, oh draft gods shine your light on Jerry Jones.

Don't get me wrong I love Jerry, but while I have been convinced he is a changed man with this draft stuff, the closer we get, the more I start realizing Parcells is not here any more to keep him in check, if that in fact is what happened.

SATURDAY can not get here fast enough, and I can not wait to see what happens, and this is much more important than just a draft, this will give us a great insight on Jerry Jones the GM and how far has he really come?

We really need a homerun in the firstround ....... I dont care what position as long as the guy becomes a star.

Well, at least you're willing to wait and see what the final results will be. I'm cautiously optimistic. Then again, I've always been in every draft dating back before Jones & Johnson Inc.

Jones will attempt to put together the best draft possible. We will learn how well he uses the resources that he's surrounded himself with this weekend. It's possible that he will have 'zero' perfect picks and still finish with a solid draft.

His goal in this draft is not to build, but to strengthen an already good team. He has the right people giving him input. He has enough data to make informed choices. Let's see how this will all unfold.

I think Parcells made a big, big impression on Ireland. He's still a young guy, and Parcells standing over him mentoring him had to have been huge. I suspect Parcells said more than once that when he was gone, you (Jeff) need to keep the same type things going and be strong in your convictions.

And I really believe that in the past, Jerry didn't make nearly as many decisons as he's always let on anyway. He organizes the input he gets from his scouts and in VERY rare cases overrules them. I think the real problem before was bad information from questionable scouts and when Jimmy left, overreliance on coach input.
