If I am not mistaked did he not acquire Choice in the draft? Who do you think signed and is paying him? A player can be good in one aspect of playing and perhaps not another. There had been reports about his efforts on special teams and not being a consistent blocker.

The injury forced him into the lineup and he performed as expected. When we got Tashard Jerry indicated he had vision and deceptive speed like Emmit Smith.

Jones' comments were based on input from the coaches as well as what he observed and after the game he even told Tashard he was proud of him. It may not be so easy to use 3 running backs optimally in any given, now we are down to 2 and one signed in case we lose another.

I am glad Tashard is getting more carries, I have always pulled for him. But I can understand why they might have had some misgivings perhaps some issues we don't fully know about Tashard.
