I don't know what he is thinking, but I would not be surprised is he woke up tomorrow from his Johnnie Walker induced coma and fired some coaches. There are going to be some good coaches available and he needs to pounce quickly or lose out. As new head coaches get hired, they will cherry pick the best assistants.

Generally these kind of coaching moves have been talked about in advance. Nothing happens in a vacuum, the NFL Front Offices know who is going to be fired and have already had back channel communications on the guys they want. Whoever they are going to bring in, they aren't just now thinking about it. The discussion among Jerry, Stephen and Will McClay probably started ten minutes after the Seattle game ended.

Those coaches would be smart to stay away from Garrett.. Especially knowing he’s on the hot seat.

Guaranteed contracts could get it done possibly.

I’m not getting excited though. I’m prepared for the same old stale offense we’ve been running and maybe this time it will produce different results because the players played better.

I'll betcha he does next to nothing. That's my gut feel.

Bingo.

He’ll talk about how he’s been around football for decades and hasn’t seen a more competent staff than what we have.

I’ve pretty much assume the next two seasons are pretty much a lost cause at this point. Maybe, by 2019-20, he’ll realize what most already knew.

It’s the new Cowboys way........ conservative thinking whether it be free agency, coaching, offensive schemes, defensive schemes, etc.

One of them may come in as a double agent to take Garrett's job, like he did with Wade.

You forgot his top advisor.

Jerry's problem is that Garrett knows where all the #MeToo's are lurking.
