Man, just looking back on that whole circus now, how stupid does all that public flirtation with OBJ look from last season. Jerry, in his desperate need for attention, had our entire team from the head coach down to the players focused on OBJ for weeks all in the middle of a great season. In turn, the guy had a MIchael Gallupesque season, 500 yds, 3 tds. This is just another example of how difficult it's going to be for any head coach to win in this atmosphere.

Comparing signing that clown vs the legendary player Sanders was tells you all need to know about where this franchise is at.

I’ll watch the games but I’m no longer thinking they will somehow get lucky and overcome themselves.

It’s not possible.

Just because you want someone badly doesn't mean they automatically join the team. Is that a new concept to you?

No it’s not, but apparently following the team is for you…they passed on obj in season because he couldn’t work out for the team and wouldn’t be back in time and then they ended their pursuit of him in the offseason when they knew his contract demand and moved in another direction ie cooks.

“it’s become clear that Jones is drawing a line in the sand when it comes to adding Beckham.

Jones’ message is clear — either show you can play and contribute before the playoffs, or we’re not signing you.”

“No surprise here but multiple people with knowledge of the Cowboys’ thinking said the team is out of the Odell Beckham Jr., business. Brandin Cooks, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup are the Big 3.”- Calvin Watkins

“NFL Network's Jane Slater reported Wednesday that the Cowboys did not extend an offer to Beckham at the conclusion of his visit, largely due to concerns over not being able to see him work out in person and questions regarding Beckham's availability to play this season.”

“As a result of the trade for Cooks, three-time Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr., another prolific wide receiver who has once considered a shoo-in to become a Cowboy, is no longer in the Cowboys' plans, according to ESPN. The team has about $9.8 million in cap space, and Dallas will likely need to use more than half of that to sign their incoming 2023 draft class”

Once Beckham couldn’t play in season- they passed on him. Then in the offseason instead of pursuing him they went and got Brandin cooks. If they wanted Beckham they could have had him.

Jerry WANTED him though. What part of that confuses you? And why are you defending the worst Owner/GM in the NFL?
